Pela primeira vez, em 30 anos de democracia multipartidária em Moçambique, a Renamo perdeu o estatuto de maior partido da oposição e no seu lugar subiu um partido extraparlamentar, PODEMOS, com pelo menos cinco anos de existência. A Renamo caiu de 60 para 20 deputados e o PODEMOS estreia-se com 31 deputados.Â
Na passada quinta-feira, a Comissão Nacional de Eleições (CNE) divulgou os resultados das eleições gerais de 9 de Outubro e trouxe consigo várias novidades.
Entre elas está a derrapada da Renamo da posição de maior partido na oposição, uma posição que ocupava desde a introdução do Multipartidarismo em Moçambique, ou seja, há mais de trinta anos.Â
O pivô desta queda, de acordo com a CNE, foi o PODEMOS, Partido Extraparlamentar criado em 2019, que passa a ser a segunda maior força polÃtica do paÃs.
Ora, não foi apenas a posição que o PODEMOS arrancou da Renamo. A Perdiz perdeu assentos na Assembleia da República, ou seja, caiu de 60 para 20 deputados.Â
Outrora extraparlamentar, o Partido Optimista para o Desenvolvimento de Moçambique, ou simplesmente PODEMOS, entrou para a “casa do povo†com 31 deputados. Mas, afinal, quais são os nomes que vão compor o próximo parlamento?
Da cidade de Maputo entram Carlos Tembe e Rute Manjate. Já o cÃrculo eleitoral da provÃncia de Maputo, onde o PODEMOS conseguiu seis lugares, será representado por Sebastião Mussanhane, António Acácio, Alfredo Pelembe, Ivandro Massingue, Aristides Novela e Simião Nuvunga. Â
Mas foi na provÃncia de Nampula, a mais populosa do paÃs, onde o PODEMOS angariou mais assentos. 10 deputados poderão aceder a casa do povo, nomeadamente: Armando Joaquim, LuÃsa António, Dias Coutinho, Gonçalves Macuácua, Atija Mussa, Bonifácio Suliva, Tome Nantar, Jafete Eurico, Adelino Puaneleque e Gabriel Macuelas.
Em 2025, caso o Conselho Constitucional decida manter estes resultados, o MDM terá amealhado o pior resultado, desde a sua estreia em 2009, como partido parlamentar.Â
É que, de acordo com Dom Carlos Matsinhe, o partido liderado por Lutero Simango perdeu dois, dos actuais seis mandatos e assim, o MDM passa a contar com três mulheres e um homem: Nampula elegeu Leonor Souza, Secretária-Geral do partido e o actual porta-voz da bancada, Fernando Bismarque. Já o cÃrculo eleitoral de Sofala elegeu Silvia Cheia, mandatária nacional, e Maria Fernando, membro da comissão polÃtica.
Dos candidatos a deputados que não conseguiram votos, o destaque vai para o cÃrculo eleitoral da Cidade de Maputo, cuja cabeça de lista era a activista social Fátima Mimbire.Â
Nomes como Lutero Simango e Elias Impuire não fizeram parte da lista dos concorrentes.Â
Estas derrapagens da oposição, só beneficiaram a Frelimo, que consolidou a sua maioria absoluta com mais 11 deputados, podendo ocupar 195 dos 250 assentos disponÃveis. Â
E, de acordo com os resultados, vão compor a bancada da Frelimo alguns membros do actual Governo, tal são os casos de Ana Comoane, ministra da Administração Estatal e Função Pública, Celso Correia, ministro da Agricultura e a actual ministra do Negócio Estrangeiros e Cooperação, Verónica Macamo.

Esta é a principal mensagem deixada ontem, em Maputo, pelo Primeiro-Ministro, Adriano Maleiane, quando dirigia a cerimónia de tomada de posse do novo Presidente do Conselho de Administração do Fundo de Desenvolvimento da Economia Azul (ProAzul), João de Barros.

Por isso, oprimeiro-ministro esclareceu que é da responsabilidade do ProAzul fomentar e promover o desenvolvimento de cadeias de valor deste sector, numa perspectiva de exploração sustentável de recursos, ao mesmo tempo que garante a protecção do meio ambiente.
